fireplace with gas. Fireplace can be
viewed through double doors from the Dining
area. The dining room is a work of art
created by Steven Rand. Larger
groups of diners can be accommodated in the
second floor great room of the boathouse.

room with stone fireplace, beamed ceilings
with cedar logs with bark, carried down through
the walls. Newly renovated with Cedar
Beams, Rear projection TV with High
Definition Dish Network. The original
warmth and coziness was retained in this large
living room.

all new fixtures, and custom designed stained

The
lake is a popular canoeing area and you can
paddle and portage back through 7 pristine
uninhabited lakes. Canoeing the 7 lakes and
climbing St Regis mountain are annual events for
many visitors to the camp.
These large properties are still referred to as
"Great Camps" because of their origins over 100
years ago . They started out as tent encampments
for summer fishing and fall hunting. Later pads
were laid for the tents and soon they became
outbuilding for cooking, sleeping, bathing, etc.
Then came the building of log homes and the
camps grew into the beautiful natural Great
Camps that circle the lake today. The camps are
furnished with the rustic furniture that was
often crafted by the caretakers during the
winter months.
